Hitachi (6501.T) which announced its intention to buy Horizon late in October 2012, has completed its acquisition of Britain’s Horizon nuclear project from German utilities RWE and E.ON, as confirmed by the Japanese energy and engineering company on November 26th, Monday. Hitachi paid RWE and E.ON a combined 696 million pounds for its acquisition of the Horizon nuclear project and has stated that discussions to find another company to operate the plants after they are built are undergoing.

Shopkeepers are clamoring the Westminster Council to either repeal the shutter ban scheme they have implemented or improve the security provided to them. Recently, more and more shops in Harrow Road, near Elgin Avenue are getting burglarized because small shops are prohibited by the council to fit shutters.
