I like weddings. They are one of the few occasions one gets to see people who really can’t stand the sight of each other rubbing shoulders and putting on bella cara for the sake of the bride and groom.

If you’re into people watching, weddings are the ultimate feast – as the alcohol flows, ruptures lengthen or close to much amusement for those of us who prefer to sit back with a glass and see energy particles released randomly on the wedding dance floor; the glares, drunken reunions and overall tension are often priceless; a Brownian motion which accelerates as the event progresses.

Weddings seat commies next to capitalists and bigots next to liberals. Even family members who have not spoken to each other for years cannot avoid each other at weddings. For neutrals, weddings’ recipe for explosive juxtaposition can be most entertaining; snobs next to oiks, reckless next to spineless,  pretentious next to blunt and sane next to stark raving bonkers. There’s always a wedding idiot – usually someone with an ego the size of Jupiter – who ends up making a complete and utter fool of themselves.

Weddings, like playgrounds, underline the differences between us human beings: there are those that hide and quiver in the corner, those who must speak to all, those who are loud and those who get so inebriated they collapse in a drunken heap. Then there are those like me who sit and watch, those who watch the sitting and those who dance around the dance floor like a chimp on speed.

Humans are all so very different that they simply don’t all fit into one system or process; let alone political mould. Some people want power, others want love, some are vagabonds and others work every minute God gives them. Even the least selfish human being spends most of their time pursuing self-interest. Some are easily pleased and happy to settle for very little. Others are dynamos who cannot ever settle for anything less than all they can possibly ever accrue in a lifetime. Human difference is human nature – our differences are far more pronounced than most species. Often we forget how different we have become.

On paper the most fair, just and equitable economic system on earth is communism. Karl Marx was spot on – on paper. Utopian ideas are marvellous but fail every time; early Christians failed holding “all things in common”, experiments like the Shakers and Equity Colony failed miserably while the past communism of the Soviet Union, the communism of North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela today has created a series of failing states which have wrecked the lives of those living there. History tells us that the ideal never fits the reality; Communism’s dictators show that there will always be those humans who would rather take than give; the egalitarian straitjacket is a failed theme.

It seems strange then that we have these communists around today. Anyone with a brain can see that the Socialist Workers Party are a bunch of losers peddling failure. Yet they still exist. Why do they bother now that any of them can see that the game is over – no-one in their right mind will ever return to a communist experiment and suffer some kind of Brookfarm or Fruitland. The sad reality is that the far left is always wrong… anti-capitalist extremists can only be true anti-capitalist extremists in countries where capitalism has allowed them the freedom and comforts to buy banners and signs or tents with which to protest. Their message is all too hypocritical and transparent – St Paul’s protesters holding strategy meetings in Starbucks as daft as that Tamil protester caught in London in 2008 munching on Big Macs while on hunger strike.

The failures attracted to the far left in Britain today are a laughing stock; the politically powerless left - left on the side-lines to tweet, blog and snigger at those running the country while the country ignores their every question, word and tweet. Ugly harbingers of doom who take pot shots at capitalist power on Twitter before retreating to their kitchens to indulge in chocolate biscuits they bought at capitalist Lidl. They feel really big on the Internet because that’s the only place they can justify their self-delusions. You’ll see these folk at weddings – the ones who show up in beige suits and grey shoes rather than tails; the pimple brigade you pray sit as far away from you at the reception as the marquee allows; they'll either be professors or unemployed.

Europe is not much better – in some parts it is far worse (France still has an active Communist party would you believe). Socialism in Europe has for decades increased its fiscal load and sucked capital out of its states until today when economies are grinding to a halt. Europe has had years of steep unemployment while it has been easier for its citizens to short-cut take out rather than fight for their share productively. As the fiscal health of Europe has declined, so its moral health has suffered. When one loses the capability to say one thing is wrong for society one loses the ability to say anything is wrong. In Europe, unbelievably, postmodernists lack moral authority to state that all cultural traditions are not equally valid.

History shows that in communist societies resources are inefficiently allocated. As Chavez sets the price on sugar, sugar production stops as there is no motivation to produce it anymore at such a low price. Capitalist tiger Brazil now supplies sugar to Venezuela. Chavez is the curse of Venezuela. His far left brand of socialism is so contrary to the human nature of Venezuela that the country is headed to hell in a handcart – the economy is falling apart, society is cracking and even in small towns the local newspapers are daily full of images of slain locals caught up in the Venezuelan lawless breakdown.

The Far Left has failed time after time to deliver decent lives to its citizens. The Far Left must be hammered hour after hour, day after day so that in countries like Britain it remains insignificant and irrelevant politically. Its alliance with the dregs of humanity – extreme Islamists and other dangerous political fantasists – must be monitored at all times and everywhere just as the loony Far Right and other extremists must be databased and watched for the security of all.

The failures of the far left know their inadequacies. They live in hope that mediocrity will be placed on the same level as excellence – that communism will prevail some day and their mediocrity will hold them in good stead. The far left is all about envy – whenever it comes to power it is about envy and hate and death.
