Perfect SecurityAmidst unprecedented co-operation, there's a clear, albeit semantic, divide opening up between European and American counter terror experts and legislators over what is called "Perfect Security". It's a basically philosophical argument that needn't exist and an argument that is currently capable of causing perspiration - though never a ground-breaking schism (solidarity against the Islamist enemy too great for that).

Especially in light of the facts that the US' visa waiver arrangement with Europeans is undoubtedly now the largest chink in US Homeland Security and Al Qaeda wishes for a Transatlantic breakdown (the airline plot of 2007 demonstrates this), American Law Enforcers are getting increasingly vocal with European counterparts about this particular security philosophy.

"Perfect Security" is as it sounds. The epithet "perfect" in relation to security can refer to physical identification and the use of DNA along with other detection analyses. Or it can refer to, for example, IT security - quantum cryptography uses traits of individual photons to distribute random mathematical keys that can be used to encrypt and decrypt communications, providing theoretically "perfect security". There are other ideas of "perfect security" just as there are myriad theories on historical inevitability.

Whatever form of security the word "perfect" is added to, the implication for security experts who espouse the pursuit of security perfection is that security can always be improved, especially in the context of the "real-time wartime" war on terror, whatever the cost to personal freedoms. Thus the security industry and national agencies must provide and execute solutions which protect the free world first, even if the cost is an infringement of the free world's individual liberties and preponderantly laissez-faire existence.

Hizb ut Tahrir al Islami: Exposed PDF Print E-mail

ht exposedThe recent attempted take-down of the Quilliam Foundation by Hizb ut Tahrir al Islami has been derisory and once and for all shown up the "party" as a damaged, dwindling sect with the national clout of Mark Oaten.

Just days before Quilliam's grand launch on the 22 nd of this month at the British Museum, Imran Waheed (not the suspected aircraft bomb plotter Waheed but the rotund Hizb ut Tahrir al Islami Britain spokesperson) has been up in his attic again and bashed out yet another Dr Evilesque blogspot exposé on yet another of Hizb ut Tahrir al Islami's endless enemies.

One wonders where he finds the time, what with Bangladesh about to be taken over by Nasim "Patrick" Ghani (HT Britain's official leader) and Hizb ut Tahrir al Islami on the point of global domination. Indeed, on the verge of this great empire of theirs - which will dwarf the Roman, Moghul and even British Empires (based out of a damp flat above a shop in Small Heath, Birmingham) - one wonders why the likes of Waheed are so worried by a bunch of ex Ht'ers who seek to raze Hizb ut Tahrir in Britain, not with made-up exposés or using the teethy 2006 Terror laws, but wielding the creeds of peaceful, integrationist Islam and liberal democracy. Surely raising funds for free food to fake the next Indonesian rally or slipping a few fivers to the unbiased BBC Central Europe desk would be more pressing goals?

Imran Waheed's attempts to slur the Quilliam boys resorted to accusing one of the Quilliam team of stealing cars, another of going to nightclubs and pulling (rather tasty actually) ...shock, horror...... kuffar women.......and another of just making up his association with Hizb ut Tahrir al Islami altogether, in spite of the fact that his association with the sect has been verified and demonstrated by several Islamists who, if they'd thought of disassociating the man, they would have done so ages ago - in fact, manifold speeches and a best-selling Penguin book ago.

Waheed's efforts went so far as to poke fun at "a funny looking guy with NHS specs who seems to have disappeared off of the scene before this organisation was even publicly launched".... this is the first that I ever heard of Imran Waheed ever being part of Quilliam then returning to HT. Two bad moves on your part there, Mr Waheed..... when a ship is going down and there's a sound, safe ship to jump on, JUMP! Oh, and Specsavers have been offering cheap deals on some really fashionable spectacles for some time now - you have no excuse to go round in your dodgy NHS pair.

Islam Is a Trojan Horse PDF Print E-mail

Trojan Horse"Europe will be Muslim in a dozen years," promises the Islamic Republic of Iran's Supreme Guide (dictator) who is racing full-speed ahead to make as many bombs as possible with long-range missiles capable of delivering their payload anywhere in the world.

This past Friday, Yunis al-Astal, a leading Muslim cleric and Hamas member of the Palestinian parliament, declared on Hamas' Al-Aqsa TV that "the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital," would soon be conquered by Islam and Rome become an advance post for the Islamic conquests, which will spread through Europe in its entirety, and then will turn to the two Americas."

The Islam hydra, with Saudi Arabia and the oil-money bloated Emirs and Sheiks of the Persian Gulf leading the Sunni charge from one side and the end-of-the-worlder bomb-seeking Shiite of the Islamic Republic of Iran with its proxies of Hamas, Lebanon Hezbollah and the Sadrists in Iraq closing from the other side will devour the free world.

Free people: are you listening?

Free people: do you care?

Free people: are you doing anything?

Disguised as religion, Islam has penetrated the democracies with the aim of replacing civility and liberty with the barbarism of theocracy and Sharia. Islam's multi-prong attack aims to destroy all that liberty offers.

It is generally assumed that religion addresses issues of importance to daily life as well as matters that transcend it. Religion claims to exercise a civilizing influence by ordering the social life and promoting spirituality, as well as advancing an array of human virtues. Zoroaster, for instance, based his faith on the triad of goodly thoughts, goodly speech and goodly deeds. Moses framed the fundamentals of his faith in the Ten Commandments, and Jesus placed love at the core of his faith.

Highs and Lows in the War on Terrorism PDF Print E-mail

high and lowsBritain's commitment to the war on terror is certainly less strong under the unelected leadership of Gordon Brown, who became prime minister on June 27, 2007. As soon as he became the premier, Brown ordered his cabinet ministers to avoid the term "War on terror".

A sign of the current administration's lack of realism came in January this year, when Home Secretary Jacqui Smith announced that Islamic terrorism was "anti-Islamic activity". She said: "As so many Muslims in the UK and across the world have pointed out, there is nothing Islamic about the wish to terrorise, nothing Islamic about plotting murder, pain and grief. Indeed, if anything, these actions are anti-Islamic." Smith's Islamic scholars seem to ignore the evidence of the Hadith of Bukhari, in which Mohammed's last words included the statement: "I have been made victorious with terror".

Despite previous previous bland statements about terrorism, Brown and Smith are now facing rebellion from Labour party ranks for trying to be "tough" on terror suspects. On November 9, 2005 Tony Blair had been defeated when he tried to extend the time that terror suspects could be detained without being charged. Blair wanted suspects detained for 90 days, but Parliament only accepted a compromise of 28 days. Gordon Brown and Jacqui Smith want the time to be raised to 42 days in a bill to be discussed next month.

In 1998 the Labour Party introduced the Human RIghts Act, which ensured that all of British law had to comply with the European Convention of Human Rights. Already this legislation has proved to be disastrous when dealing with terrorism. It has allowed Afghan terrorists the right to remain in Britain indefinitely.

Control orders were introduced by then-Home Secretary Charles Clarke in 2005. These measures were brought in to monitor and regulate the activities of terror suspects who could not be prosecuted, often in the form of a partial house arrest. In May 2007 it was revealed that three individuals - Cerie Bullivant, Lamine Adam and Ibrahim Adam - had escaped, despite being under "control orders".

Transatlantic Plot So Far PDF Print E-mail

TapOn Thursday, April 3, a trial began at Woolwich Crown Court in southeast London. Eight men stood accused under Section 1 (1) of Britain's Criminal Law Act 1977 of conspiring to murder others. They are also accused under Section 5 (1) of the Terrorism Act 2006 of preparing acts of terrorism.

The men on trial are: Abdullah Ahmed Ali, (27), Assad Sarwar, (27), Tanvir Hussain, (27), Mohammed Gulzar, (26), Ibrahim Savant (27), Arafat Khan, (26), Waheed Zaman, (25) and Umar Islam aka Brian Young (29).

The men had been among 21 who had been arrested on the morning of Thursday, August 10, 2006. The arrests had taken place after an operation that had involved intelligence shared between Britain, Pakistan and the United States. The chief of US Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff, announced to a press conference in Washington DC that: "This operation is in some respects suggestive of an al-Qaeda plot... They had accumulated and assembled the capabilities that they needed and they were in the final stages of planning for execution."

He said that the plan had been to smuggle explosives on board planes which were bound for North America. These explosives would be disguised as harmless drinks and also electronic apparatus. On board the planes these would be assembled into bombs. Secretary Chertoff said the plan was "really quite close to the execution phase."

Transatlantic flight plans were thrown into chaos as Britain and America raised their security threat levels to their highest. President George W. Bush was on vacation at Crawford, Texas. He made a press announcement, in which he said: "The recent arrests that our fellow citizens are now learning about are a stark reminder that this nation is at war with Islamic fascists who will use any means to destroy those of us who love freedom, to hurt our nation.... Travelers are going to be inconvenienced as a result of the steps we've taken. I urge their patience and ask them to be vigilant. The inconvenience is - occurs because we will take the steps necessary to protect the American people."

Imagine looking across the breakfast table at your wife and kids knowing that the corn flakes and orange juice consumed by them are dripping with the blood of innocents because you bought them with your terror-funding wages. Imagine driving your children to school in a luxury car which in itself is a fine-looking machine but - you well know - was bought with money reeking of innocent corpses and wrecked lives from some other corner of...

A fugitive British militant linked to an alleged UK plot to use liquid bombs to blow up transatlantic airliners has been killed in Pakistan, reports say. Pakistani media said Rashid Rauf, born in Birmingham, was killed in a US air strike in North Waziristan, a haven for militants and the Taleban. Mr Rauf, on the run after escaping from a Pakistani jail, was alleged to have helped the group planning the attacks. Three men were convicted in the...

Al-Qaeda message condemns Obama

The second-in-command of Islamic militant network al-Qaeda has hit out at US President-elect Barack Obama. In a message purportedly from Ayman al-Zawahiri, the al-Qaeda deputy called Mr Obama a "house negro" - a demeaning term implying he served white people. Mr Obama's plan to bolster the US military presence in Afghanistan would fail, Zawahiri said. If genuine, the message would be the first acknowledgement by al-Qaeda of the president-elect's victory. The audio message appeared on militant websites. Zawahiri,...

US airport security is second to none. Iris scans, detectors of various kinds, pat-down inspections, screenings, biometrics and finger-print check-ins are increasingly current in US international airports. Or one of the army of gruff, armed US visa officers or their CCTV colleagues will likely spot you and...

Obamanomics

Obama's economic plan is a recipe for long-lasting disaster. Keep in mind that wrecking anything, as opposed to building things, requires very little time and effort. Obama's plan is deceptively attractive, while in reality it is a huge wrecking ball that will capsize the already listing ship of our economy. Here is a partial list of reasons why. Judge for yourself. Obama is proposing a trillion dollars in new spending. Where is he going to get the money,...

Just Criminal?

The recent British Government trend to not refer to "Islamic terrorism" or "Islamist terrorism" - instead referring merely to "criminals" and "criminal acts" - is either supremely clever or depressingly thoughtless depending upon the premise they started from. Islamist terrorism - a tidier phrase than Islamic terrorism - neatly describes the criminal act of terrorism carried out by Muslims with a political bent. With this phrase, there is no need for the epithet "extreme" before Islamist (meaning...

Saudi cleric favours one-eye veil

A Muslim cleric in Saudi Arabia has called on women to wear a full veil, or niqab, that reveals only one eye. Sheikh Muhammad al-Habadan said showing both eyes encouraged women to use eye make-up to look seductive. The question of how much of her face a woman should cover is a controversial topic in many Muslim societies. The niqab is more common in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, but women in much of the Muslim Middle East wear a headscarf...

CNN's king of the talk-show hosts and the icon of one of the major television networks, Larry King, hosted an interview on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 with the devil himself.  Many Iranians felt completely betrayed by Mr. King's line of questioning. They felt that Mr. King was missing key questions. I am not advocating a hostile interview here, but how could Mr. King allow Ahmadinejad to easily dance away. It seemed he was deliberately making Ahmadinejad...
